According to MIIT's latest statistics mobile subscribers this month increased by 7.621 to reach 608.378 million. China Mobile's subscribers increased by 5.1 million to reach 421.7 million and China Unicom's subscribers increased by 0.5 million to reach 171.3 according data release by China Mobile and China Unicom, respectively.
Approximately 401 billion SMS messages were sent this month.
