According to MIIT's latest statistics mobile subscribers this month increased by 8.619 to reach 592.13 million. China Mobile's subscribers increased by 7.49 million to reach 407.0 million and China Unicom's subscribers increased by 1.2 million to reach 169.7 according data release by China Mobile and China Unicom, respectively.
Approximately 287 billion SMS messages were sent this month.
